Be it known that on the Sixteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-Four, the Last Will and Testament and Codicil thereto, of Isaac Wesley Brown, late of the Township of West Oxford, in the County of Oxford, and Province of Ontario.
Surgeon, deceased, who died on or about the Twentieth day of July, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-Four at West Oxford, in the County of Oxford, and who at the time of his death had a fixed place of abode at the Township of West Oxford, in the said County of Oxford, was proved and registered in the said Surrogate Court, a true copy of which said Last Will and Testament and codicil is hereunder written, and that the administration of all and Singular, the property of the said deceased, and in anyway concerning his Will, and codicil, was granted by the aforesaid court to Jane Brown, of the Township of West Oxford, in the County of Oxford, widow, the sole Executrix named in the said Will and codicil, he having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same by paying the just debts of the deceased, and the legacies contained in his Will and codicil so far as she is thereunto bound by law, and by distributing the residue (if any) of the property according to law, and to exhibit under oath a true and perfect Inventory of all and Singular the said peoperty, and to render a just and true account of her executorship within Eighteen months or sooner if thereunto required.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Isaac Wesley Brown of the Township of West
Oxford in the County of Oxford, Physician.  
I give and demise the house and lab where I
reside on the East Side of Zorra Street in the village of Beachville, together with the
furniture therein, to my wife Jane Brown and her daughter, Mary Wilton, my adopted daughter.
I give and bequeath to my said wife all the realized residue of any estate of whatsoever the same may consist and wheresoever situate upon trust as soon as conveniently may be after my decease to call in, sell and convert into money such part of my estate as shall not consist of money, and to form a trust fund thereout, and to invest the same upon real estate or such other security as to my said wife (thereinafter called my trustee) may seem meet and out of the same to apply so much of the monies as shall beat my credit at the time of my decease, in the Traders Bank of Canada, at its Branch in Ingersoll, as shall be necessary to educate, maintain and qualify my son Arthur for the Medical Profession.
As to one-third of the residue of my said estate after deducting out of the said Trust Fund so much as is necessary for my said son Arthur, I give the same to my said wife absolutely and as to the remaining two-thirds thereof, I give the same to be divided equally between my two sons Charles and Arthur Brown and my adopted daughter Mary Wilton.
And whereas I have a Policy of Insurance for Two Thousand Dollars in the Independant Order of Foresters half of which is for the benefit of my son Charles Brown and the other half thereof for the benefit of my son Arthur Brown, I appoint my said wife as Trustee for them to receive the monies to be derived from said Policy and to give proper releases and acquittances therefor.
And whereas I have a Policy of Insurance for One Thousand Dollars in the Canadian Order of Foresters One half of which is for the benefit of my said son Arthur and the other half thereof for the benefit of my adopted daughter the said Mary Wilton.   I appoint my said wife as Trustee for them, to receive the monies to be derived from said Policy and to give proper releases and acquittances therefor.
I appont my said wife to be the sole executrix of this my Will and I appoint her to be the Guardian of my Infant children.   In Witness Whereof I the said Isaac Wesley Brown the said Testator have herunto set my hand as and for my Last Will and Testament at the Town of Ingersoll this Sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety-Four.

This is a codicil to the Last Will and Testament of me Issac Wesley Brown, which said
will is dated the Sixteenth day of May A.D. 1894.
Whereas by the said Will I declared that I had a Policy of Insurance for One Thousand Dollars in the Canadian Order of the Foresters.   One half of which is for the benefit of my son Arthur Brown and the other half thereof for the benefit of my adopted daughter May Wilton Brown I hereby declare by this my Codicil to my said last Will that the said Policy of Insurance is hereby varied as to the beneficial interest therein to my son Arthur Brown and give to my wife Jane Brown the beneficial interest as to one half thereof declared by the said Policy to be in favor of my said son Arthur so that the same being One Thousand Dollars shall be equally divided between my said wife Jane Brown and my said adopted daughter May Wilton Brown and I confirm my appointment of my said wife as Trustee named in my said Will to receive the monies to be derived from the said Policy and in all other respects I confirm my said Will.
