St. Stephen's Church was yesterday morning the scene of a fashionable wedding, the contracting parties being Miss Ethel O., youngest daughter of the late Thomas Cumines of Welland, and Mr. Gordon A. Brown, eldest son of the late P. J. Brown of Toronto. Rev. A. J. Broughall officiated. Previous to the opening of the ceremony, Miss Stella Sintzel of Hamilton rendered several appropriate vocal selections. Promptly at 11 o'clock the bride, looking very pretty and carrying a bouquet of bridal roses, entered on the arm of her brother-in-law, Mr. C. P. Godden. Her dress of tucked white chiffon with overdress of peau de sole silk, trimmed with real lace and with veil and orange blossoms, was decidedly smart. Miss Margaret Rosseaux Brown, the pretty little sister of the groom, made a charming maid of honor in white tucked organdie, pink sash, white picture hat and carrying a magnificent bouquet of pink roses. As bridesmaid, Miss Florence Macglashlan, cousin of the bride, made a pretty picture, attired in white silk, blue sash and hat of white chiffon. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Mr. Allan Ellis was best man, and Dr. T. J. Clarke, Mr. W. A. H. Findlay, Mr. Victor A. Hall and Mr. Elgin Myers performed the duties of ushers. The conclusion of the ceremony was marked by the stirring strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march played by Mr. G. H. P. Darby, after which guests retired to 425 Euclid avenue, the residence of the bride's sister-in-law, Mrs. C. P. Godden. The house decorations were in green. A pleasant hour was spent in congratulations to the young couple and in viewing the many beautiful presents, when Mr. and Mrs. Brown departed on the 1 o'clock train for an extended trip through the northern lakes. Among the invited guests were Mr. and Mrs. R. Y. Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rattray, the Hon. Richard and Mrs. Harcourt, Miss Strachan, Mr. and Mrs. J. Fitzallen Ellis, Mrs. and Miss Mackenzie, Mr. Alf. Mackenzie, Mr. and Mrs. Morrice, Miss Jacques, Mr. W. W. Wood, D. R. Mackenzie, Mrs. and Miss Brown, Mr. W. N. Douglas of Toronto; Dr. and Mrs. A.
