Mrs. Lettie Townsend, who has made her home for the past eight months with her brother, Mr. N. C. Brown, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. J. Karns, of Woodstock, on Thursday last, where she was visiting. The cause of death was a stroke of paralysis. Deceased was 84 years old, and in compliance with the request of her father, made many years ago, her remains were brought here and interred by his side in the Dunboyne cemetery on Saturday last.
