DEATH OF JACOB KARN--At eight o'clock Tuesday night Jacob Karn, one of the old pioneers of Oxford County, breathed his last at his home on the Governor's Road in East Zorra.  Few of the old men of the township were more rugged or hardy than he.  He had known comparatively little illness and two weeks ago when he was confined to the house, but for only a week did his bed claim him.  Finally an active brain and life succumbed and many friends in the township are saddened at the loss of so estimable a citizen.  The late Jacob Karn was born within a half mile of where he died, a little over 82 years ago.  He had his early experience doing the pioneer work which laid the foundation of the township and the hardest work over, he became a prosperous and respected farmer.  About 57 years ago he married Catherine Brown and took up his abode on the Governor's Road, where he has since lived.  Besides Mrs. Karn, who is 77 years of age, three children survived.  These are:  Mrs. Philman, Burlington; Edmund Karn, Woodstock; and William Walter Karn on the homestead.  Mr. Karn was a faithful member of the first Baptist church, Woodstock
