"Justin you need to go to the store for butter, since you used the last of it..." 19 year old Justin mocked his mother in a nasally voice as he walked through the parking lot up to the large Safeway building that looked more like a mall.
As he walked through the doors, waving a to a neighbor and grabbing a cart, he cursed his mother for not doing this herself. He hated shopping. He always got too much and then got yelled at for it. Why didn't they just do it themselves if they didn't want him to spend all their money?
He sauntered up to the toothpaste aisle first because, hey he needed some toothpaste. He examined the different brands and settled on the simple Aquafresh cavity protection and threw it in the cart. Then he picked out some deodorant since he was running low. He tossed that in also and pushed the cart down along the aisle, his eyes quickly skimming over the items but none showed interest.
He turned and almost hit someone but made it to the next aisle safely, and when he looked ahead and saw no one there, a wicked smile played upon his face and he put his feet on the cart, pushing off with the toe of one of them and went barreling down the aisle. He wasn't going that fast but he was going fast enough that when the person at the end popped out of nowhere he didn't have enough time to put his foot down and slow down. So the two of them collided and fell to the floor with uttered curses.
"Oh shit!" Justin cursed as he tried to get his cart off of the poor being caught under it. "I wasn't looking and..." he trailed off as his eyes met crystal blue ones. Smiling blue ones. He sat back on his heels and stared at the gorgeous man before him. He always thought people looked good in uniform and this was no different. As his gaze slid down the lithe body of the man, he couldn't help but let his eyes stray to the tight crotch of the pants.
"Uh..um, can you kinda help me out here?" the man asked and Justin cut his eyes towards the man face, blushing.
"Sorry." he mumbled as he lifted the cart from the guy and put it upright, getting up himself. "Sorry again." he apologized as he held out his hand for the guy who took it and lifted himself easily. Justin blushed as the guy held onto his hand.
"Thanks." the man said and Justin nodded knowing if he tried to talk it would come out wrong or he would say something embarrassing. "Name's Josh." the guy said and Justin looked up into a bright smile. Even his little buckteeth were sexy.
"Justin." Justin grumbled to the floor as he kicked at the floor. Josh laughed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Ya know, Justin. We kick people out for playing around on carts." he said and Justin turned a ghastly shade of red.
"I said I was sorry." he repeated and turned towards his cart, picking up his toothpaste and deodorant.
Justin then turned around quickly and was surprised to find Josh's gaze below his belt. Josh, though, straightened quickly and un crossed his arms.
"But, since you said you were sorry I guess I will let you off this one time. Don't do it again Justin." Josh said with a wink and then sauntered off leaving a drooling Justin. True, this Josh character didn't have much of a rear end but that didn't mean he didn't appreciate the tight pants.
"Ugh, Justin. Shut up. He thinks you're a little kid, doofus." he groaned to himself as he started to push his cart towards the milk section. He was coming for butter right?
As he walked to the coldest part of the store he cursed his light t-shirt and tried to rub away the goose bumps on his arms.
"Someone's a little cold there."
Justin turned towards the petite girl at his side. He smiled at his friend from school. "Hey Ria. And shut up." he added as he looked down at his erect nipples showing through his shirt. He crossed his arms as the girl laughed and patted him on the back.
"What are you doing here so late at night?" she asked as they strolled down the line, Justin picking up some cheese and some milk.
Justin examined the many margarine labels and turned towards Ria. "Which one? I Cant Believe Its Not Butter or Cockette." he said as he heard giggling from beside him. He turned to see a red Ria and then past her a smiling Josh. He was confused.
"What?" he asked as Ria shook her head and grabbed the tub of butter. She pointed out the "r" on the Crockette bin.
Justin looked back at Josh who was now smiling at him and groaned. "Shit." he cursed as he put both in his cart and started down the line again, trying to forget that he had just said cock so freely in front of a hot ass guy.
"Hold on J! Wait." Ria called as she jogged up to him. "Whats with the hurry?" she asked as they fell into a normal paced walk as the rounded the corner where vegetables were.
"That guy back there... dammit, I am such a dork." he cursed as Ria looked behind her to see the guy stocking the cheeses.
"Ooh, Justy's gotta crush? He is cute.." he smiled as she continued to look at him and Justin narrowed his eyes.
"Shut up, and leave him alone. I saw him first." he joked as Ria laughed and threw her arms around his broad shoulders.
"You crazy boy. Too bad he's straight." she said and Justin frowned at her. Count on Ria to rain on your parade.
"I knew that, dummy. Just go and rub it in why don't you, you wench." he called and she blew him a kiss.
"I love you too. Well I gotta go. I got a par-tay to go to. I might meet my husband there, now go talk to yours are I'm going to snatch him up." she threatened as she waved and retreated.
Justin sighed and turned back to pushing the cart. He saw out of the corner of his eye Josh at the alcohol part of the store and he inconspicuously strolled over there, whistling a phony tune as he stopped at the end of the aisle and pretended to be looking at some wine. He snuck glances from the corner of his eyes but Josh wasn't turning around for the life of him and for some reason Justin was a little glad because he didn't know what the hell he was gonna do if Josh figured that he was following him.
"Are you even old enough to drink?"
Justin looked up from the bottom level of Bicardi up to the brunette. "Huh?" Justin cursed himself as he sounded so incredibly stupid.
"You look a little young to me to be looking for some liquor." Josh said and Justin straightened, glad he towered over the man a little. He didn't look so young now, did he? Booyah! In your face!
"This isn't for me." Justin said stupidly and turned away because he was blushing again. He should just shut up and be mute for the time being.
"That doesn't answer my question, Justin." Josh said slowly and Justin got a tingly feeling in his stomach as his name rolled off of Josh's tongue. And what a pretty tongue it was.
"Ok." Ok, now he took a vow of silence because everything that came out of his mouth was laced with stupidity.
Josh on the other hand smiled and leaned against the chips on the other side. "You're cute." Justin blushed some more and he thought if he did anymore he was going to faint from all of the blood rushing to his head. He already was feeling a little faint..
"But that doesn't tell me how old you are." Josh finished as he pushed from the chips and walked towards Justin who now looked ta him with big eyes. "Are you going to tell me?" he asked softly and Justin wanted to kick himself to get moving. "Because.." he spoke, so close that his breath ghosted over Justin's lips. "I don't want to be a cradle robber or anything." he laughed as Justin closed his eyes and tried to steady himself on his cart which slipped forwards and he fell to the floor, grabbing onto Josh's shirt to balance himself which sent them both sprawling to the floor.
"Shit." Justin cursed as his back flexed against the hard ground. Josh moved above him and he opened his eyes to see Josh laying on him, his arms holding him up.
Josh smiled and Justin closed his eyes, willing this day away. He was dreaming. This was a bad nightmare. Thats all.
"Sorry." he mumbled and Josh shook his head, chestnut brown hair falling in wisps around his face and Justin thought the sight beautiful.
"Justin, I.. Are you into-" Josh started but was soon hushed as a man bellowed from behind them.
"Joshua! What the hell are you doing?! Get up now!!" the man screamed and Josh rolled his eyes, rolling off of Justin. He got up quickly and held a hand out that Justin graciously took.
"Sorry Kip." Josh apologized and then threw a smile to Justin as he followed the large man from the aisle.
Justin watched his back leave and sighed to himself, rubbing his hand over his face and raking it through his short curls. How embarrassing was that?
He turned around looking for his cart but when he saw it at the end of the aisle, laying overturned and an old lady complaining about her hip, he rushed to get from that row and to the butter. That's all he needed was the butter and then he could leave this hell hole.
Well he got the butter, and some cheese and some deodorant and some Sunny Delight that he put in a basket he had found lying around.
As he walked up to the cashiers he saw there was only one open, other than the express lane and so he opted for the express lane and while waiting in line he read some of the magazines, snorting at the picture of Britney Spears on the cover.
"I will be a virgin till marriage." he imitated as he threw the magazine back and turned back to the candy section. He sifted through the packages and found Cotton Candy Bubblicious gum and grabbed 3 of those, putting them on the little conveyer belt.
"Hey sweetie, how are you today?" the woman behind the computer asked and Justin smiled.
"I am good, how are you?" he asked politely as the woman batted her lashes.
Minutes later Justin was finally walking out, a single bag in his hand and a relieved smile on his face.
"You need some help?"
Justin looked to the right and saw a smiling Josh now dressed in some baggy jeans and a light blue Polo shirt. Had Polo ever looked better on a person?
"Yeah." Justin breathed as Josh reached to take it but a short little man waddled up to them snatching the bag.
"Josh, you're not on right now. Go home." the man said in his nasally little voice and Justin narrowed his eyes. So he wasn't on shift anymore? Dammit, he missed his chance.
Justin reached over and snatched his bag back. "Never mind." he said as Josh smiled and turned towards the stout man.
"I'll do this for my good deed of the day." he teased as the man laughed and rolled his eyes, walking off.
Josh took the bag and Justin followed with a smile as they made their way to his Escalade he had conned his parents into buying since they had such a large family (If 5 people could be called large).
"This it?" Josh asked as they neared the maroon colored SUV.
Justin nodded and pulled out his keys and unlocked the front seat. Josh slid past him and he shivered as their bodies touched slightly.
‘Freak' he said to himself as Josh put the groceries in the seat. He turned around and Justin put on a smile as they stood there.
"Thanks." Justin whispered as Josh nodded and moved closer.
"Any time." he whispered back and Justin felt his hands start to sweat. He backed up as Josh moved closer until he was pressed up against his car. Shit, he thought as he wrung his hands slightly, wiping them off on his jeans.
"If I ask you something, will you promise me not to freak out?" Josh murmured as Justin opened his mouth slightly trying to get more breath into his lungs. It was becoming a problem, especially now since Josh was so close. "Well?" Josh asked and Justin nodded slightly as he felt Josh's thigh press against his.
"Can I... Can I kiss you Justin?" he asked and Justin thanked heaven quickly before their lips brushed quickly together. Justin brought his arms up and draped them over Josh's arms as Josh held onto Justin's waist. Their lips moved together in a fluid motion and Justin slid his tongue over the brunette's bottom lip, nipping at it softly and then plunging it in to Josh's mouth as the older man accepted it. Justin tangled his fingers in chocolate waves as Josh groaned into his mouth and pulled away, panting for air.
Justin stood there, dazed, a placid smile marking his handsome face. Josh smiled at him and leaned in for a quick kiss and then pulled away, picking up Justin's hand bringing it to his lips slowly.
"Come back some time." he muttered against Justin's skin as he smiled and waved slightly walking away leaving Justin to stare openly at the man retreating.
Just's mouth opened. Hold on, what just happened? Didn't Josh want his number? What?"Oh hell no!" Justin yelled as Josh turned around and winked before walking to his own car. Justin turned around and kicked the tire of his car. "Stupid prick." he cursed with a smile as he checked the time, looking once more at the brunette in his car now. "Stupid stupid prick." he laughed as he hopped into his own car and sped back to his house.
"Justin! Did you finish off the orange juice?!"
Justin bounded down the stairs with a smile, checking out his appearance in the hall mirror. He looked down and smoothed down the Sean John shirt taking a deep breath.
"Yeah, mom. Don't worry I'll go get some more." he promised as he hopped out of the house running a hand through his hair.
"But sweetie... you went twice yesterday!" she yelled as her son slammed the door and ran to the car, a big fat smile on his face as he sped down the street towards the Safeway.
