The Red Light Special

"What time is it?"

"9:30... you on tonight?"

Blonde eyelashes fluttered beautifully. "Of course."

JC looked down at his fingernails, picking at a hangnail. "Oh."

Justin sighed, finished getting dressed, buttoning the blue top. "Let me use some of that stuff." He reached out and grabbed a bottle of cologne, holding it up as JC nodded. He sprayed some and then sneezed. "Thanks."

"No problem."

The room was silent as Justin hurried around, finding his shoes, his necklace, his keys. He touched up his hair at least a million times and JC looked at him with soft eyes.

Justin turned around slowly and smiled sweetly at his lover. He walked over, his thumb padding across the brunette's soft cheek. He bent down, giving the man a gentle, loving kiss. "I'll be back." he reminded and JC nodded.

"But, I-... Never mind." JC stood up, ready to get in the shower.

Justin was quick to follow him, though, and he grabbed his arm, twisting him around. "No, what?"

JC bowed his head embarrassed. "Its stupid and I am just being a jealous boyfriend."

Justin smiled and he leaned against the bathroom molding, bringing the brunette closer. "I like when you're jealous. Its hot as shit."

JC chuckled and pushed away from Justin playfully, but pulled the young blonde closer, pressing a needy kiss to his lips. He wouldn't have Justin for the night, this would have to do.

Justin moaned and angled his head while his hands grabbed onto his lover's hips, bringing them close.

But he had to pull back because he was already 5 minutes late. "I gotta go." He gave JC one last kiss, one that would hold them both over for the night.

"Ok." JC replied, giving Justin's arm a squeeze. "Be careful." he warned and Justin grinned.

"I love you too."

And Justin was out the tiny apartment before JC could count to three.

"Whats your name, sweetie?"

Justin couldn't deny that the man was a little attractive. Better than the ones they usually had who couldn't get sex anywhere else.

"Justin." He replied softly as they walked down the street towards the man's house.

"I'm Greg." The man smiled and Justin cringed slightly because it looked like the man hadn't taken a toothbrush to his mouth for a while. Thank god for the no kissing rule.

"Greg" walked beside Justin and finally, after a long inner battle, put an arm around the younger one's waist, squeezing affectionately.

Justin gave a small smile although his insides were churning. He hated this part. He could deal with the sex, but the affectionate lovey dovey shit, no. He only got that at home, from JC, and that's all he wanted.

"Yeah, mom. I got your check... You know we didn't need i-... No, Justin is fine... Yeah, he's still a bank teller... But I am doing great... Mom, it doesn't matter. I get paid $14 an hour, that's great for any waiter... I know-... Stop, mom just don't... Yeah, I need to go too... I love you too... bye." Josh hung up the phone and sighed, rubbing a hand down his tired face.

He glanced over to the clock, the red 11:30 taunting him.

"God." he sighed and closed his eyes, unintentionally thinking about Justin and who he was doing now.

Justin was good at stripping. He had a nice body and he knew how to work it. He knew he had perfect hips, hips he could do anything with for Josh had told them that on their second date, after they'd slept together.

"Yeah, shake that ass."

The guy was grunting and Justin bit his lip from laughing. But he kept dancing to the music in his head because all the guy had was classical and he didn't think he'd be able to do a strip tease to Tchaikovsky.

As he swung his hips, he closed his eyes, the man's hands crawling all over him and he swallowed thickly.

"Yeah, you're a good one, baby. A real good one."

Justin was there, on all fours getting banged like a fucking dog. JC stood in front of him, hurt. The man behind Justin was a no name but had green eyes, bright green eyes that scared the living hell out of JC.

JC reached for him but Justin moved back, that grin on his face. The grin he never gave JC, the one that hid the sadness easily.

JC walked towards them, the couple moving farther away each time until he was running quickly, Justin a crying slump on the floor, crying out for him, for his mother, for God.

"I'm sorry!" He was yelling to JC. "I'm so sorry!"

JC would answer with a whispered, "I know." until he was screaming at the top of his lungs that he knew.

JC started with a jerk and he gasped as he tried to regain his breath. He looked around, noting he was still on the couch, the phone still nestled between his shoulders. Just a dream

"Oh my god." he breathed and ran a hand through his hair, the strands damp with sweat. He rubbed his eye and sighed, looking at the clock, cursing that it was only 4 in the morning.

If you thought hard enough that you were somewhere else, with someone else, then you could be there.

Justin thought hard as the guy thrust slowly wanting to, "Take it slow so I can have you all night," the man had explained. He thought of the beach, the coral in Australia. He had never been there before. Neither had JC, so it was perfect.

He pictured them laughing at everyone that passed because of their accents, JC trying his out. They wouldn't go near the water though. Justin had seen on the Discovery channel once about the box jelly fish that could kill a person in seconds. Nuh uh, he wasn't risking that.

"I'm coming." Greg groaned, his hands tightening on Justin's hips, his fingers biting into the skin and Justin winced.

The body atop him fell quickly and Justin held his breath for as long as he could before shifting and pulling away from the man.

JC crawled in the bed after taking another shower, crying for a good 5 minutes because Justin was still out there and not there with him, like he was supposed to be.

But they needed the money, Justin had always told him. Because he didn't finish high school, he could never get a real job, a good paying one at that.

JC had insisted that he just get his GED but Justin dismissed it, saying he wasn't smart enough. But he was, he just didn't know it. No one told him and it was affecting them both now.

He slid under the satin sheets Justin's "friend" had given them, winking at Justin when he did. JC had thrown up all night that night, Justin not going out for a whole week after.

He snuggled into the warm comforter and sighed, knowing there was nothing else to do except wait.

Justin opened the door easily, slipping out the key and stepping in. He sighed as he threw his jacket to lie on the couch, tossing his keys on the counter.

He stripped out of his clothes easily, walking nude to the bathroom. He always took showers when he got home. Always.

His shower was brief and when he toweled off, he threw the towel at the hamper in the corner of the bathroom.

JC was awake, Justin could see his eyes in the slicing moonlight and he was looking at him.

"Hey." he whispered as Justin slipped under the covers, JC scooting over into the younger man's arms.

"Hi." Justin whispered back, giving JC a forehead kiss, his lips soft against the wrinkled skin. He pulled back and brought a hand up to smooth out the worry lines. "Whats wrong?"

JC looked up and sighed. "Nothing."

Justin rolled his eyes with a tiny smile. "Yeah right. Tell me."

JC sighed and burrowed his face in the crook of his lover's neck. "I love you, Justin. I always will."

Justin sighed shakily and his hand ran up and down the brunette's nude back soothingly.

"I love you too, baby. Always."

He gave JC's curls one last kiss before closing his eyes, sighing as he felt the sun start to peek out, the beginning of a new day that lead to the beginning of a new night.
