Title: Tricky
He needed JC.
He needed to talk to him, to see him, to just... touch him.
Justin was jittering with nerves the next morning, checking his watch as he saw it was 5 in the morning. Though it was too early, he needed to explain things to JC. To see the young man.
He passed a moving truck, frowning at them while jumping the steps. He'd hate to have that job. It was too early in the morning to work, that was for sure.
But when he reached the second step, just a few feet from JC's door, and he saw that the moving men were coming from his room, Justn suddenly frowned at them for another reason.
"What are you doin'?" he asked as one of them carried out another box. The man raised an eyebrow and chuckled.
"What does it look like I'm doin' kid?"
Justin gritted his teeth. "How ‘bout we leave the smart ass comments alone and tell me where ya goin' with these boxes."
The man tisked, growing weary. "I'm not at liberty-" With one look to Justin's face and the hand slowly creeping to the back of his pants, the guy swallowed and cleared his throat. "Maryland. The guy who used to live here is movin' I guess. He's already gone, though, if you was looking for him."
Justin paled and he felt as if he was being gutted from the inside out. JC?
Gone? Shit, he needed to think for a second.
"Look, I don't know if he's gone already. He left for the airport a few minutes ago, maybe you could still catch him. You got his cell number or something?" the guy asked and Justin brightened, then sighed and frowned. He had never remembered JC's cell, always calling him on the home phone number.
"Fuck." he cursed and ran a hand through his tangled hair.
The guy beside him shuffled a bit and then produced a crumpled peice of paper, sticking it in Justin's palm, giving the young blonde luck with his eyes before padding down the stairs, the box still light in his arms.
Justin went over the sheet, releasing the breath he was holding when he found JC's cell number on it. Under it in red, read In Case Of Emergency. Well... this was sorta emergency.
Justin dialed quickly, holding his breath when it started ringing. And soon enough, JC's soft voice periced the silence, rendering Justin silent. What was he supposed to say?
"Don't hang up."
JC froze on the other line, Joey walking ahead of him in the airport. He was literally frozen solid, his phone to his ear.
"Please." Justin went on quickly. "Please, don't hang up. I need to... We need to settle some shit and I need to see you. Please, don't leave with out me. I got so much shit I need to say-"
"He's heard enough of your bullshit, alright? Just leave him the fuck alone."
The line was cut and Justin cursed, throwing down his cell phone and kicking the wall though his body protested the move.
Then, with dier purpose, Justin jet down the stairs, looking quickly before running towards the street, hopeful in finding a ride to the airport.
