Scribe is the shining star of New Zealand’s much-celebrated young hip-hop scene. Following his outstanding guest appearances on P-Money’s Big Things album, he released his own full length debut The Crusader on Dirty Records.

For those wanting an alternative to all the gun-toting, gangsta-styling, money-money-money hip-hop that’s around at the moment, Scribe is exactly what you’re looking for; hip-hop at it’s purest essence.

An icon of the Christchurch musical community, Scribe spent his youth honing his skills alongside local groups Beats’n’Pieces and Polynesian theatre company Pacific Underground.

His rap style is at once witty, conversational, emotive, and inspiring. He oozes charisma and delivers enthralling live performances at every turn, captivating audiences from the bottom of the South Island to the top of the North.

With his live reputation and a catalogue of songs including New Zealand radio hit’s 'Remember?', Synchronize Thoughts and b-net award winner Sunshine it’s no surprise that DJ Sir-Vere has tagged him “a legend by the age of 22”.

Scribe has already cemented his name in hip-hop’s underground and with the breakthrough support for his new material it is inevitable that the rest of the world will “Stand Up” and take notice.
