Hello. This is the page about me, Michael Bridge.
I was born in February 1973 in Manchester UK to my mum and dad, Anne & Alan. My brother Chris joined us in 1975 and then my sister, Lauretta in 1976. We moved to Burley-In-Wharfedale, West Yorkshire when I was four, and that is where my mum and dad live now, so that is the place that feels most like home.
I went to school in Bradford (Bradford Grammar School) and then to the University of Kent where I studied Economics and German. My third year was at the University of Marburg, Germany.
Previously I worked for a marketing agency called Interfunction, and before that IBM. Nowadays I work for Farnell InOne, but that is just about to change…
In March I will start a new job as Product Manager for Rapid Electronics. It promises to be a very exciting step for me.
Work aside I lead a happy family life with my wife Allison and our daughter Holly, who is two. We currently live in Rawdon, Leeds, but with my change of job comes relocation to Colchester, Essex.
I like to spend as much time as possible with Allison and Holly at the weekends. Unfortunately over the last six months I have been busy refurbishing our house, which we bought in pretty poor cosmetic state. It is now miles better and I can start getting my life back together!
