In building the full-size Knex-i-Comp, a few minor problems appeared that would not be apparant in building a smaller version. The most serious was the introduction of flex in the grey rods used in the Actuator Back-Block and Sense Rod Lifter. I partially fixed this by substituting the stiffer black rods (sold by K'nex for 68¢ each!), but I have serious doubts as to whether the design can be extended to four actuator rod pairs.
I replaced the tan clip at the end of the Back-Block Latch with a red connector. This seems to be more reliable, but the difference is marginal.
My Bit State Mask is not as nice as Mark's; since the picture was taken I have managed to aquire some black plates.
I was not able to get the Actuator Rod Counterweight working as in the plans. Mine is simply a white connector dangling from the monofilament.
