Here
are
the
words
to
the
song
you
are
listening
to:
Thank
You,
Lord,
for
all
the
care
You
have
shown
from
year
to
year:
Loving
me
and
shielding
me,
By
Your
blood
redeeming
me.
Let
me
not
forget
to
show
All
You
mean
to
me
and
so
All
my
thanks
I'll
give
to
You.

|
For
my
friends
and
family
I
would
give
You
thanks
today.
May
I
show
to
them
Your
care,
Tell
of
Love
beyond
compare.
Give
me
words
to
say
to
all
So
that
each
may
hear
Your
call,
And
My
thanks
I'll
give
to
You.

Pilgrim
fam'lies
once
You
led
Safely
home
-
though
filled
with
dread.
Calm
my
fears
when
all
seems
black;
Help
me
cling
to
You,
my
Rock.
When
my
pilgrimage
is
done
You
will
bring
me
safely
home
And
my
thanks
I'll
give
to
You!

Thankfulness
by
Max
Lucado
Gratitude
comes
from
having
the
right
perspective.
It’s
being
able
to
look
at
what
you
have
and
being
thankful
for
that,
rather
than
longing
for
what
you
don’t
have.
Do
you
know
why
we
should
feel
grateful?
You
are
a
part
of
God’s
plan,
you
are
touched
by
God’s
tenderness,
and
you
are
a
victor
in
God’s
victory.
What
greater
blessing
could
there
be?
It’s
incredible
that
anyone
could
look
at
the
kindness
of
God
and
not
feel
any
emotion
of
gratitude.
Remember
the
Lord.
Remember
who
is
in
control.
Remember
His
goodness
in
the
past.
Remember
God’s
closeness
in
the
present.
Remember
His
power
for
the
future.
Father,I
want
to
see
you
and
know
you
better.
We
ask
you,
Father,
to
help
us
see
Jesus
and
to
deepen
our
faith
upon
seeing
him
more
clearly.
What
If
What
if
God
couldn’t
take
the
time
to
bless
us
today
because
we
couldn’t
take
the
time
to
thank
Him
yesterday?
What
if
God
decided
to
stop
leading
us
tomorrow,
because
we
did
not
follow
Him
today?
What
if
God
took
away
the
Bible
tomorrow
because
we
would
not
read
it
today?
What
if
God
stopped
loving
and
caring
for
us
because
we
failed
to
love
and
care
for
others?
What
if
He
would
not
hear
us
today
because
we
would
not
listen
to
Him
yesterday?
What
if
God
met
our
needs
the
way
we
give
Him
our
lives?
O
Lord,
help
us
to
be
thankful
that
you
have
not
dealt
with
us
according
to
our
sins,
nor
punished
us
according
to
our
iniquities
(Psalm
103:10)
O,
give
thanks
to
the
Lord,
for
He
is
good!
For
His
mercy
endures
forever
Psalm
118:1

While
the
turkey
is
baking,
you
may
want
to
relax
a
little
and
relive
what
the
first
Thanksgiving
was
like
as
well
as
nourish
your
soul
with
the
real
reason
for
this
holiday.
