My wife Erin and I did our first hike together on a 5.4 mile loop in the Middlesex Fells. I thought I had an amateur with me but, boy, was I wrong. There were several times when there were no trail markers, but Erin found the way with her uncanny sense of direction!!!
The day was extremly muggy with humidity in the upper 70's so several breaks and lots of water were needed. Along the way the perfect hiking stick was found and it helped over many of the inclines we encountered.

I know I enjoyed it and Erin said she had a ball and can't wait to go again!!! The next one should be very soon. (Maybe I will take her to the cave in Lynn!) but most likely it will be to Mt. Monadanock in NH.
