More About The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is your Comforter. Which means: Counselor, Helper, Intercessor,
Advocate, Strengthener and Stand By. The Holy Ghost was sent to teach you
all things and guide you into ALL truth
(John 14:26, 16:12-13)
Matthew 12:31,32- Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
BENEFITS OF PRAYING IN TONGUES
Reminds us of the Holy Spirit Inside Of Us.
Builds up our spirit (I Corinthians 14:4)
Controls our tongue (James 3:6-8)
Pray for the perfect will of God (Romans 8:14-16)
Helps us to intercede (Romans 8:26-27)
Helps us Worship God (Acts 2:11)
DRUNK ON THE HOLY SPIRIT
On the Day of the Pentecost, people thought the disciples were drunk.
If people thought they were drunk, they were doing more than just speaking in a different language.
The disciples were falling down laughing and looked like drunk people.
WHY LAUGHTER?
When we laugh, we open our hearts.
The Holy Spirit is stripping away hard hearts.
Many people are getting healed on the inside.
God is preparing the Hearts of His people for a Harvest.
Many people have received healings after yielding to laughter.
The Bible says a Merry Heart Does Good Like A Medicine.
OTHER MANIFESTATIONS
Sometimes people will weep. This can also bring healing.
Sometimes people will shake. (In Acts 4 the whole building shook)
People will fall down. (Slain in the Spirit)
Sometimes people will get stuck to the floor or the wall.
In Acts 9 Paul was blinded by the Holy Ghost, not sickness, until Ananias prayed for him and released him.
