Guitar Tablature for "Let's Sew Our Pants Together," my favorite pre-blue song
This is that little riff at the beginning of the song, and preceding the second verse. The notes with ~ around them, are where you do a little vibrato. (I don't know the technical way to express that in a tab)
eb------0------0-----0----------------------0----0----0----------
Bb---4-----4-----4---- ~5~ ---0---2----3----3----3--- ~2~ ----0
Gb---------------------------------------------------------------2----
The verse and pre-chorus both have the same chord progression. Using up/down strokes, play "E major" six times, then "F#" four times, then "A" 2 times:
Emj Emj Emj Emj Emj Emj F#F#F#F# AA
I only posted the parts of the song that are completely ACCURATE. I didn't figure out the "chorus" (when Rivers sings 'lets sew our pants together') but it's just a couple of chords. Even with Ridd's remastered version, it's hard to hear, so I won't bother typing up what I have, as it's probably wrong. If you play something that sounds sorta right, and I'm sure no one will know the difference.
I know there are lots of better guitarists out there… send me corrections or addition or anything. I need help with the guitar solo, because I don't have a wah-pedal so nothing sounds right.
