Welsh Wizard;-

MONMOUTH is at the heart of the WYE VALLEY, set in some of the loveliest countryside in the British Isles and steeped in history. It stands as a gateway to Wales and an excellent centre from which to explore the LOWER WYE VALLEY and the FOREST of DEAN, the MONNOW VALLEY and so much more.

Spend a day in MONMOUTH and you will find a thriving town with an excellent mix of convenience and specialist shopping. Friendly, helpful and attentive service is a tradition in the LOWER WYE VALLEY.

Here you will find individual, unusual and interesting shops, eating places, pubs, antique shops and centres, open air markets, craft galleries, the Nelson Museum and Garden - they are all well worth a visit.

It is easy to forget how convenient Monmouth is as a place to enjoy a day out. Big cities are all very well, but you can’t beat this area for scenery, friendliness and choice of things to do.

At the end of July we have over a week of Festival activities; early August brings the Carnival to town; this is the place to stroll, enjoy, browse, relax. Monmouth is open for business - why not treat yourself.

To find out about Monmouth, why not go to the LOCAL INFORMATION WEBSITE - http://monmouth.org.uk -
The site provides information about Monmouth and its surrounding area, for residents and tourists alike, including news, company listings, community contacts, an events calendar and a bulletins board where you can post notices and receive replies.

Look forward to seeing you.
