When Mark Carson robbed the Morganstown Post Office in Wales recently, his modus operandi was poor. Firstly, her forgot his balaclava and gloves. He then handed over his passbook to staff, revealing all his particulars. He did manage to swipe £24,000 and later checked in at a nearby hotel, telling the receptionist: "If the police ask for me, I'm not here." Finally, arrested the hapless crim gave his occupation as "armed robber".
