Weird But True
NZ Race Relations Cleared Up

With a sudden stroke of genius, race relations conciliator Rajen Prasad has gone some way toward tidying up our confused race issues. At a function on future race relations, the local community gave Dr Prasad some ceremonial beads & his British equivalent, Bob Purkiss flowers. Appreciating that Mr Purkiss was soon to leave the country, Dr Prasad kindly swapped gifts, then observed, "You may have had to give the land back, but at least now you’ve got your beads back."
