Weird But True
A real (apparently) radio conversation released by the US Navy in a moment of candour...
US NAVY VESSEL: "Please divert your course 15 degrees North to avoid collision."
ANSWER: "Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 d South to avoid collision."
USN: "This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again divert YOUR course."
ANSWER: "No, I say again, you divert YOUR course."
USN: "THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER ENTERPRISE, We are a large warship of the US Navy, Divert your course NOW!"
ANSWER: "This is a lighthouse. Your call."
