Jamie was good enough to host us for Game Night, and I was ungrateful enough to spill some wine on their carpet in the front porch. Attendees were Jamie, Lee, newcomer Erin, and myself.

Mike and Lee (Team Lite) | 5100 | 1 | |
Jamie and Erin (Team Munchy Snack) | 2500 | 2 | Erin |
Notes: I didn't know that Erin was coming, so I thought it was going to be three old Game Night veterans, so I only brought some more experienced type of games, like Tikal, Torres, Domaine, and Traumfabrik. I didn't think we submit Erin to one of those right off the bat, so Jamie suggested Mille Bornes, which was a smashing idea.
Lee and I were monsters in the first round. I coup ferré'ed Jamie when he played a Stop on us, as I had the Right of Way safety. I had the Ace Driver one still in my hand later, but it was never played. Jamie and Erin had a rough first round, as they only managed 325 miles to our 1000. We didn't make a safe trip, though, as Lee played a 200 mile marker. First round scores:
Team Lite: 1800
Team Munchy Snack: 325
The second round was much closer and though Lee and I won the race, we lost some of our lead as Jamie played two coup ferrés on us, and he and Erin managed to get 975 miles after all. In fact, Lee and I were stuck on 975 for a while until Lee finally drew the 25 mile card that we needed. We were at 875 and Lee played a 100 card. I was thinking he should have played a 50 or 75 at that point, giving us more options. Oh, well. Second round scores:
Team Lite: 3300 (1500)
Team Munchy Snack 2100 (1775)
In the final round, Lee and I dominated again, getting two coup ferrés and blastinig through the final race thanks to two 200 mile cards and a few 100's. Jamie and Erin kept getting stuck with obstacles, and Lee and I coasted to victory.

Notes: After Mille Bornes, we played some Traumfabrik. I didn't take extensive notes, so I can't tell you some of the goofy movies, but I can list several things that happened:
Erin and Jamie made several movies early, helped in part by their getting early actors that helped them at the parties. The parties were particularly brutal on Lee, who had few actors and picked last every round. He was forced to throw away several things he acquired at parties.
I didn't fare much better, and Lee and I didn't finish a movie until the third round. By that point, Jamie had two best of round awards and had finished two first movie awards. Though Lee and I eventually made worst and best movies, respectively, my other movies were almost useless. The point markers were exhausted, so I lost 2 and then 3 points on my other two movies.
At the end, Jamie managed best Drama and best Adventure. I had best Direction and best Entertainment, while Lee managed Worst Movie. Erin was shut out of the post-session awards. Jamie was also able to gather a bunch of contracts in the final round to boost his point total, as he wasn't going to be able to finish his movie. He smoked us when we made the final accounting. If I had started a little bit better, I might have challenged him, but only getting one more movie and not doing a good job maximizing points on my later ones killed me.

Notes: Erin took off after Traumfabrik, so Lee and Jamie and I wrapped up with some Liar's Dice. Lee took a very close first game, winning by a single die over Jamie. I went out pretty damned quickly, as I recall.

Jamie | Second Out | 2 | |

Notes: The second game was déjà vu. Lee beat us both again, though I stuck around a bit longer. Jamie was sitting to my left, and he's pretty conservative, and he kept calling my semi-bluffs. He whittled me down by one die repeatedly, which eventually rendered me too weak to do anything.

Notes: In the last game, finally knocking Lee from his stranglehold. I still didn't fare that well, losing by an easy 3 dice.
