Title: "The Beginning = The End"

Time: 2+hours

Date: 17/6/99 + Extra Time Unknown (My Visual Arts Teacher would kill me if she knew…)

Although this one is simple, there are a few tiny things that are hard to see. Follow this link to an enlarged version.

Information: Three separate pictures, showing a kind of comic strip representation of the end of our world. The last person alive, a woman, wanders for years searching for any other person who may have survived. But her searching is in vain. Her name is not known but her life is contained within the computer folder with "NAME" written on it. The folders that surround this one - shown only by the dotted outlines - belonged to those people who recently died. A friend of mine also suspects that the tombstone that is knocked over is meant for her and that is why it is the only one not put in the ground. Maybe this is true and a drew that in unconsciously…

She dies too in the next caption and the mouse pointer over the bin shows this to be true. Her coffin has the holy symbol of a cross on it but the coffin rests on the demonic symbol of an inverted pentagram as she was unsure of what would happen after she died.

The final but largest of the three pictures shows five figures, all faceless, around the hovering earth. Beginning from the left and going around clockwise, we have: The Fifth Element who represents life itself and everything else that cannot fall into one of the other four elements. Behind the table and unseen is the Water Element with the reflection on the floor of fish. Behind the table but seen is the Air Element who is swathed in clouds. To the far right is the Fire Element who has the shadow of a rearing snake. Lastly is the Earth Element who has the shadow of a colossus.

Our World is no longer directly under the center of the dish as it has begun to spin off it's axis. All the people of earth are dead and so the game is over. Now the elements are left to think about the outcome of their game. Outside the craft that they stand in, is white space, showing that there is nothing left to fill the world.

Now, most of you will know the famous saying: "If a tree falls in the middle of a forest and there is no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Well, this question can be altered to say: "If there is no one left to see the stars, do they still sparkle?" If the tree makes no noise, then the stars - and space itself - cease to exist.

The other spacecrafts show the other dimensions where other earths exist and as they spin off, we see the top view of one of them. It represents a CD (Compact Disc) that holds all our information. Finally, the border joins infinity to zero as the beginning (zero) equals the end (infinity) and both times would show the same final picture. Some say that the "Big Bang Theory" is the truth but that each time it occurs again, we are the same person as we were the last time. However, through minor changes that we may decide to make each time, different lives may be lived.

Ultimately though, we will always reach the same outcome. The space on the hard drive will clock to infinity and the number of remaining residences will be reduced to nothing and although God and the Devil would've played parts in our lives, here and now they mean nothing.

Such a load of info for such a simple piccy huh?
