JULY EDITION

It's the 4th Month of My LTG Term.. and
I'm LOVING Every Second!!

Greetings my fellow Mighty Cows!! How has your summer been? Most recently, how was your 4th of July? My 4th, was the usual, I went out with my sister to a BBQ, -n- we watched fireworks, I wonder how BBQ's and fireworks came about celebrating our nation's Independance? I guess that's Americana for ya. First of all I would like to say, that you guys are doing a GREAT job. You make me so proud, do you know how much fun it is to have bragging rights to one of the biggest and soon to be baddest divisions in ALL of Cali-Nev-Ha? You guys took the very first step today at this OTC. By attending this conference, not only do you show your devotion to improve your ability to do your job to the fullest potential..but you also took the first to becoming one of the BEST divisions in Cali-Nev-Ha. I'm telling you now, that I have my eyes on the MOST SPIRITED DIVISION award for Fall Rally..and with your commitment to unity and spirit for our division, that award can be ours. I admit I have not been ding my job to the fullest of my potential..and I apologize. Remember, I can only do so much, I need your support and willingness to do whatever it takes to be the BEST. What can I say, I'm a Leo, it's the whole competiveness thing, I NEVER settle for the second best. I hope you guys are also keeping up wih the "Spirit of Service," this month. Always keep in mind, that even though it's summer, there's no reason why your club has to stop the service. Just volunteering at the soup kitchen, or at a local day care center or convalescent home can make a diference. Besides, most of you are probably being major couch potates! So volunteering an hour a week wouldn't keill you. In the motto of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District, "We Serve therefore we Bee." I hope you all make the most of your summer and no matter where you are, there's always someone in need of a little extra help.

In the spirit of service,

Pooja Chaturvedi
Division 35 Lt. Governor
2000-2001

Introducting the Online MRF

Yes! It is finally possible, you can send me your club's MRFs ONLINE!! This may seem a little tricky to grasp at first, but their are some rules that must be abided in order to send your MRF via the internet:

  • In order for you MRF to be considered " on time", you must turn in the MRF before 12 AM on the 5th of the month. If the MRF date is stamped at 12:01 AM, it will be considered late.
  • You must send the online MRF as a Word '97 text file, as well as a download, so that if one fails to be accepted via my computer, then I will always be able to check itin another format.
  • In addition, you must mail in an "Online Verification Form", this form must be signed by your advisor as well as your President, Secretary etc. Your MRF will not be accepted without this form.

If you choose not to send the MRFs via the internet, then regular MRFs through snail mail will be accepted too.
