These pics are from my younger brother-in-law's Pontiac Grand Am. The stock deck was pulled and replaced with a Clarion in-dash CD unit. The factory front and rear speakers were replaced with Kenwood units, 4" mids in the dash, and 2-way 6x9's in the rear deck.
Monster Cable power and signal wires were ran to a Kenwood KAC-728S 2 channel amp, crossed over at 80Hz. The amp is pushing 2 Sony Xplod 10" subs.
I don't remember why, but for some reason he wanted separate boxes. The boxes were constructed with 3/4 inch particle board, at .72 cu. ft. per sub. The enclosures were hinged to allow access to the amplifier.
