Les Millepattes is one of the only independent ice hockey teams in Paris, based in the suburb of Colombes.

The founders of the hockey team of the Sports Club at Colombes, played together at Franconville until the end of the 1997-98 season.

They had chosen to be part of a team that was fun. They had chosen to be part of a team that was fun, with a good level of hockey. When they realized that the management was hardly interested in their well being, the players on the 3rd Division team voted unanimously to create a new club.

It was in this spirit that the Ice Hockey Club of Colombes opened its doors at the beginning of the 1998-99 season. In 1998, the Franconville club has started to practice once a week at the Colombes ice rink, to make up for the lack of ice time at Franconville.

Colombes being without a hockey team and a high level of respect that was established between the two parties, the Millepattes club of Colombes was created during the summer of 1998.
