Millom AOS ran a consultation, regarding the future of the Millom Palladium, and Feasibility Study to find out how the Theatre should progress, with specific emphasis on the next 5 years and asked the public to send them their ideas. The feasibilty study has reported back and the report has been acted upon.
There were over 650 responses to the Palladium Feasibility study - Thank you to all concerned. Your feedback has been incorporated into the future plans for the Palladium. It looks likely that new office space will be incorporated into the building and a new lift to all floors.
The buildings aesthetics are to be considered as well as the heating, insulation and seating issues raised in the public consultations.
As part of these proposals the Palladium ownership was to be transferred over to the Millom & Haverigg Economic Development Group. This has now taken place.
Future bookings and enquiries reagrding the Palladium should be addressed to Nash Thakker in the first instance until a suitable booking mechanism is in place.
