My association with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign began as soon as my parents, Doug "Gaga," and Lorene Mills, found out that I was the baby girl they were adopting. Right before I was born, Pops coached his last Illini Basketball team, the Whiz Kids. At the time, Pops also was the Athlete Director for the U of I. I am very proud of what my dad did in all of his jobs for the University.
