Tie Tacks


Tie Tacks, Lapel Pins, Hat Pins, whatever you want to call them, so long as they have a single prong with a back to fasten them, I collect them. My collection includes Cartoon Characters (Go, Scooby), teacher stuff, holiday stuff, coaching stuff, cat stuff, and Special Olympics.

I probably have 40 or 50 Special Olympics pins. I even have the new 1999 World Summer Games pin. Since one of my athletes will be in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area this summer (I have an athlete who has been selected to be part of the Illinois Delegation's Bocce Team), I am hoping he can pick up some new tie tacks for me.

And now a word from the webmistress: Molly just got a digital camera (way cool). As soon as I get a chance, I'll play with it until I'm actually able to get some shots of Molly's tie tacks. In the meantime, I am helping build a fence for Molly. A. Woolsey, webmistress.
