bullet  General Notes:

Research on the first husband of Eliza Ann Richey provides 5 different names for the same man. The marriage records in Scott County, Indiana, list Eliza Ann and Cellery Stark married on Sept. 9 1861. Several on-line genealogies (suspected to be imported from the book 'The Collings, Richeys and the pigeon Roost Massacre') list him as Collery Stark. The Civil War Pension Papers from Eliza's second husband (Thomas Hardy Burgess) indicate that Eliza was married previously to a Seley Stark - this written by Burgess a number of years after the death of Eliza. The spelling in the document is very poor so this spelling is unlikly to be correct. This document indicates that Seley died in the Andersonville Prioner of War camp in Andersonville Georgia.
Checking into the name on the Stark side of the family with Gwen Boyer Bjorkman, the 1850 census record from Vienna Twp, Scott Co. Indiana has a head of household named Cozad Stark with a son named Cellars Stark age 8. Gwen had a marriage date for Cellers as Sept 9, 1861.
Finally, the Prison records for Andersonville Prison list the death of Seller Stark on Jan 2, 1865.
