Author's notes: Ok, so this story SUCKS, but my daughter wanted me
to post it (I LOVE YOU JANET-CHAN!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!), so I am.
It's not very good, and it's REALLY short, and it's totally out of
character of my normal writing, and it's kinda sad, but not really,
there's a happy ending. ^-^ So this is dedicated to my separated at
birth sista Ashley!! 18 ROCKS!!

Come in ye Kings, and kiss the feet of God.
The Three Kings (a Christmas carol)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today was turning out to be one of those days. Nothing had
seemed to go right for Usagi. She walked into her favorite arcade
after a long day at school and sat down into a booth. The emotions
of the world seemed to be weighing down on her chest, and tears brimmed
at her eyes, yet she didn't know why. It had just been one of those
days that was so emotionally straining that one would want to stay at
home wrapped in the comforts of bed.

Usagi turned to look out the window. The window panes were
steaked with rain tearing down the side as if heaven was crying.
Perhaps it was herself, and she reached a hand up to her face and felt
it was damp from tears falling down her cheeks. Instead of trying to
fight the ensuing sobs, she gave in. Tears running down her face freely
and her small, frail body shook from the sobs that wracked her.

One would wonder what had caused a girl whom seemed so carefree
to be so burdened by the problems of life, but this was no ordinary girl.
She was a princess, yet a shoulder, guarded by moonlight. The world was
hers to protect, yet, who was there to protect her? She could feel every
emotion in the world. She could feel the life around her; vibrant and
colorful, but today, it was shadowed in gray. Maybe the world was crying
because it's princess was crying, or maybe the princess was crying because
the world was crying, but either way, the angel was vulnerable. She needed
him; her other half; her soulmate.

Without him by her side, the world seemed a much harsher and
crueler place. "So why wasn't her soulmate by her side?" One might ask.
Because, she was too afraid. She knew who he was. She saw him everyday.
He was the one who teased her, who called her names, who hurt her. She
remembered what the two once shared in their past life, and wondered if
it was only a dream from the way he treated her now. She wondered if he
had ever loved her at all and why she had let herself be so easily fooled
by such a manipulator of emotions, but she knew she still loved him. Not
just because he looked like a Greek god with his silky ebony hair and
stoic features, but the color of his soul. Who he was inside.

She could see past all the walls he would put up, and see a
helpless little boy inside crying to be loved. And it killed her inside
to see that. She couldn't take it anymore. She knew that things had
changed. She couldn't tease him back. She gave up. Whenever he would
make fun of her hair, grades, appearance, or anything, her shoulders
slumped and her face paled. The aura of brilliant light around her
seemed to fade each time he hurt her. Her soul got dimmer and dimmer,
eventually fading away to nothing. She was empty inside without him,
and she cursed herself for letting herself become so vulnerable to the
emotions of a man.

She was the all-powerful princess of the Moon, how could she let
this happen to herself? All she wanted was his love, but it was too late.
She finally gave up, submitting to the darkness and bleakness that
surrounded her. Only upon her death, rising to god did she hear him.

They say the dead can hear your thoughts, and she indeed heard his,
and her heart broke. He had loved her, but had been too cowardly to show
it. Therefore, upon her cold lifeless body lying there dead, he stabbed
himself. His spirit rising to meet hers in heaven, dancing together in
each other's love to forever light sky in the power of their love.
