"Mamoru-san, I'm sorry about what happened, what I said about Usagi." Motoki
apologized. He was truly sorry when Mamoru had gotten so upset. Obviously
he hadn't come to terms with his feelings for Usagi.

"It's okay. I'm just a little stressed." Mamoru replied.

"May I ask what she's doing here in the first place?" Motoki asked.

"She got hurt when a youma attacked. I happened to be nearby, and I brought
her here. She asked me not to tell her parents what happened, because they
are so over protective." Mamoru lied smoothly.

"Oh." Motoki replied. "I should get going though. I've had enough
physics for a lifetime!"

Mamoru laughed at the comment. He glanced at his watch and saw that it
was around ten o'clock. Haruka and Michiru were due back any time now
and he wanted Motoki gone before then.

As Motoki opened the door, he was greeted with the site of a small purple
haired child.

"Mamoru-san?" She asked.

"No, that would be him." Motoki gestured to Mamoru. "I'm Motoki-san."

"Setsuna-mama never said anything about a Motoki-san..." The child looked
perplexed before turning to Mamoru. "I'm Hotaru."

"Hello Hotaru." Mamoru smiled at the little girl.

"Michiru-mama and Haruka-papa are on their way. I ran ahead and caught the
elevator before them." Hotaru explained, walking into the apartment.

"I'll see you later, Mamoru-san!" Motoki said as he left the apartment.

"How is the Princess?" Hotaru asked quietly.

"She's sleeping." Mamoru told the girl.

"Whose sleeping?" A sleepy Usagi asked from Mamoru's bedroom door. She
was leaning against the frame, with her hair falling loosely around her.
One hand was sleepily rubbing her eye.

"No one, now." Mamoru replied, gazing at her.

"Excuse me. I'll go look for Michiru-mama and Hotaru-papa." Hotaru quickly
left the apartment.

"Who was that?" Usagi asked, walking further into the room, closer to Mamoru.

"Hotaru." Mamoru replied. "She came with Haruka and Michiru."

Usagi looked around the apartment.

"Where are they?" She asked, puzzled.

"On their way up."

"Oh."

"Do you want something? Some soup? Tea?" Mamoru asked after a moment of
silence.

"Do you?" Usagi asked.

"I'm not hungry," He told her. "But if you want something..."

"You haven't eaten all day!" Usagi exclaimed. "You're going to eat
something right now!"

She reached for his hand, and pulled him to his feet. Laughing,
Mamoru allowed her to drag him into the kitchen.

"All right! All right I give in!" He told her. "What do you want to
eat?"

"Whatever you are having." Usagi told him, sitting at the small table in
his kitchen. Mamoru began looking through his fridge when someone knocked
on the door.

"I'll get it!" Usagi leapt to her feet.

"No, that's okay. I can." Mamoru told her.

"I have to make myself useful!" Usagi told him as she made her way across the
room to the door. She opened it and let Haruka, Michiru and Hotaru in.

"I think I'll give Mamoru-san a hand in the kitchen. Why don't you two keep
Hotaru entertained?" Michiru suggested.

"Okay. We can watch a movie, or something." Usagi replied.

"Mamoru-san? Why do you have a copy of Beauty and the Beast?" Haruka asked
him, holding up the Disney movie. Mamoru remained in the kitchen, pretending
not to hear her.

"Oh!" Usagi squealed. "Put it on! I love that movie!"

"That's why, huh Mamoru-san?" Michiru asked, laughing.

A few hours later, found the five in Mamoru's living room watching
The Little Mermaid. Haruka and Hotaru were lying across the floor,
Michiru was sitting in the arm chair, leaving the couch to Usagi
and Mamoru. Sometime throughout the first movie, Usagi had snuggled
up against him. This did not go unnoticed by Michiru and Haruka, who
exchanged glances.

When The Little Mermaid ended, Hotaru announced that she was tired and
ready to go home.

"Yes, we really should get going." Michiru agreed. "It's rather late."

"It's okay. You can stay." A sleepy Usagi said through a yawn.

"No, Odango. We really go have to go. We'll let ourselves
out." Haruka told Mamoru with a grin. Mamoru smiled in gratitude,
for he had his arm wrapped around the nearly sleeping blonde.

"Mamoru-san? I'm cold." Usagi mumbled. Mamoru carefully lifted
the blanket that was lying across the back of his sofa and settled
it around Usagi.

"Thank you..." She smiled slightly before falling deeply asleep in
his arms.
