There is not much known about Asmodiun's past. Some of it seems to be shrouded in shadows. It is known that he is one of King Torlan Aki'rae's most trusted friends. He had helped Torlan regain his sight when Torlan was just a hatchling. After that, Torlan and his flight came to trust Asmodiun immensely.
Years later, after Asmodiun became a wandering Cleric, news of his death reached Torlan's ears. This was a blow, for Torlan had never trusted anyone the way he trusted Asmodiun. Then, one evening, almost 9,000 years later, Asmodiun entered Torlan's palace. To say that Torlan was shocked, is an understatement.
He had come to Arytiris Benerel not only to seek out Torlan, but also following the trail of his long-lost child, who was taken from him and his late wife, shortly after the child's birth, during a slave raid. His wife was killed during the raid. He had been trying to find his child ever since.
From Asmodiun's lips, Torlan learned that he, Asmodiun, had died several times, only to be resurrected by the Goddess Luna. The purpose was to continue serving Luna to the best of his ability, because he was to be a major player in an event that would change the face of Or'anya Kaimelor forever.
Recently, Asmodiun has been resurrected yet again, and with a slight change of appearance. Upon his resurrection, he was given wings. He is now a winged Paladin, serving Torlan and the Goddess Luna, in teaching and training those in the city of Arytiris Benerel.
Personally, Asmodiun is a very quiet individual, most of the time. He's relaxed, laid-back, and seems to be stress-free about everything. Everything that happens, he takes casually, always with that small smile upon his lips.
His skin, eyes, and hair are all silver. On his robes, he has small, minute bells which seem to sing a soft song upon the wind with every tiny movement he makes. Even his soft voice seems almost musical. There is an air about him that seems to calm those in his presence. He always speaks softly, and kindly, and rarely has a harsh word to say about anyone or anything.
He currently lives in the palace, sharing a room with his SoulMate, Arlinavian, who is a reincarnation of his late wife. |
