Small Rockets
Don't let the size of these rockets fool you. They are pretty violent, well that's if you get it right anyway. You can use a spindle or you can just ram them then drill them out. However I will only be describing the spindle method here. Also when you are feeling confident, you can move on to putting payloads on your rockets, start small however because some rockets may not be able to lift much
Here is my tube in my spindle with the 2 rammers next to it
These tubes are 9.5mm I.D and 70mm long with a wall thickness of 2mm.
Start off by putting some clay into the tube. put enough so that the plug after ramming will be the same I.D as the tube, Then ram a bit more so the plug is about 13mm thick.

Ramming......

Once you have rammed the clay plug you have to load some propellant into it. I use meal powder and it performs amazingly. Make sure you never put in too much, once the propellant has been rammed it should not exceed the I.D of the tube in height (e.g.. I would only ram 9.5mm of propellant) This process takes a while because of the number of ramming cycles. But its worth every second of labor

Ramming....
Continue this until there is about 15mm of space left. You can either ram clay to the top or just ram it so there is still 5mm from the top. Ram it all to the top if your just going to use it as a plain rocket. However if you want to put a payload on it then leave 5 mm from the top. I'll explain furthur on

Hahahahaaa. Who says kitty litter doesn't make pretty plugs
Now pull it off your spindle

Aint too pretty

But with a bit of a touchup....
And now you are done. Unless of course your going to put a payload on it.
How to put a payload on a rocket
