Sometimes the server says "can't load page" or "server is busy". What does that mean and what can I do?

Our pages reside on a server, a computer that stores and runs all our information. Sometimes the owners of that server are fixing their server, upgrading their software, or other things so that the pages cannot be loaded at that time. Always try reloading the page you want. If that doesn't work, come back at another time. For persistent problems, please contact us.

What do I do when my browser returns a "404 -- page not found" error message?

Two things could be happening: one, the server (xoom.com) is too busy to even look for the page, or two, the page really isn't there. Come back and try loading the page alittle later. If the problem persists, please contact me! Thanks.

I can't see your backgrounds or printables

Check your browser set up. Sometimes there is an option to use specific colors. (For example, in Netscape 4.6 you can set the specific colors in the Preferences Menu and the pages will always load with those colors.) (If you use AOL, it might be compressing the images. Check your settings or contact the AOL administrator for help.)
