  Making this set is easy and the clear plastic cups are easy to paint any color you want. We used bright colors to make it easy to see.

What you need:

• 2 Jelly Cups (found at most Chinese grocery stores)
• Twisted strands of thread or embroidery thread
• Plants or floral tape

Here's how to do it:

1. Cut the cup in half so all you have is a bowl -- see second picture.
2. Paint the bowl any color you want. Regular artists paints, such as Apple Barrel, work well. Allow paint to dry.
3. Thread a needle with the thick thread.
4. Poke needle into the bottom bowl and tie a knot. See third picture.
5. Draw thread into the top bowl and make a knot. Cut thread.
6. Repeat last two steps on other side of bowls.
7. Insert peat moss, fake dirt, fake grass, green sponge, green Easter grass, or floral tape to make plants.
8. To make foliage from floral tape: fold a piece of green (non-sticky) floral tape in half. Snip at angles along the edges. Unfold and spread.
