She won national award (named as Urvasi Award) for best actress which is the biggest award for actresses in India, in her first film at the age of 14, which is happening very rarely.
She died at the age of 21 in a Car accident which is also an unexpectd thing. She died in the day of 'Swargvathil Ekadeshi'. It is believed that those who are dying on that day will get heaven.
