Supplies Needed:
2 parts terra cotta Fimo
1 part red fimo
Flesh, ochre, white, transparent and terra cotta Fimo
Thick sewing thread
Long blade
Pasta machine or rolling pin
|
- Mix 2 parts terra cotta and 1 part red Fimo together until you get
a constant single colour.
- Start mixing some flesh, ochre, white, transparent and terra cotta
together, a little bit at a time until you get a browny colour that will
represent your cooked meat part. You can also use a light brown by mixing
chocolate Fimo with white! Continue to mix until you are happy with your
cooked meat colour.
- Set half of the terra cotta/red mix aside and roll the rest into a
long log that measures 3/8” in diameter.
- Mix the rest of the terra cotta/mix with half of the cooked meat mix
you made until you get one uniform colour.
- Wrap the log with this new colour. It should now be roughly ½”
in diameter.
- Wrap the log with the rest of the cooked meat mix you made. The log
should now be 5/8” in diameter.
- Cut the log into 1” long roasts.
- Mix 1 part transparent with 1/8” ball of ochre to make the fat. Roll
into a thin sheet. Cut logs in half and insert fat into roast as above
instructions.
- Wrap a thin sheet around outside of roast for fat. Repeat for all
roasts.
- Wrap thick sewing thread around each end a few times. Cut thread and
repeat for other side.
- Using long blade carefully cut thin slices almost all the way through
and bend over.
- Cook at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.
