The Hearth
~
Salamanders, or 'mandies' as they are more commonly known, have become a bit of a rarity,
what with the cold northern winters and going back south to breed.
Unlike the southern Weirs, Dasmalenra must rely on gifts to provide eggs, rather than tithes.
Such eggs as they do get are kept warm in sandbuckets near the largest kitchen fire,
and given out to only the most deserving.
~
Rules:
1. Only one mandie per persona, and no more than one queen per page. These are rare creatures, understand that!
2. The website you put your mandie on must be entirely child-safe. No cussin', no nothin'.
3. Don't shuffle through the eggs looking for a queen. Rare creatures, remember? A green or dun will be the
envy of all your friends.
4. Treat your mandie nicely - provide a link back to the Weir so it can visit home!
5. One last thing... don't take credit for these beasties! I made 'em. Don't adopt 'em out, don't recolor them,
don't resize or flip them... Basically, don't change them in any way, or use them as anything other than cyberpets.
By taking a mandie, you are agreeing to follow all of the rules, regardless of whether you've read them or not.
The eggs are shaking... quick, pick one up!

I made this site out of a love of the Dragonriders of PernTM series by Anne McCaffrey.
It is not an online RPG weyr, and I do not in any way make profit off of it.
Pern and all aspects thereof belong to Anne McCaffrey, who I highly respect and admire.
GO BUY HER BOOKS!
All of 'em.
Yes, even the ones that don't have dragons.
They. Are. Good.
