These most unusual residents of the Weir spend most of their time alone, out on patrol (in Igcri's case) or trying not to be mistaken for a juicy herdbeast (Igleise). The elk-taur just doesn't fit in, though Igcri does, and Ig would probably leave were it not for his feeling of responsibility for the dragon that he's raised from the shell.

History - Obviously, the elk-taur is not originally from Pernsey--he came only because he though it would do his charge good to grow up around other dragons, and he proved right. Now that Igcri is grown, though, he's beginning to experience a longing for home...
