The girl beside her--well, not really a girl, more of a young woman, really--is also rather tall, with a muscular build, and a tanned face crisscrossed with old hair-thin scars. You shudder. You know what leaves that kind of mark...

Appearance - Tall and muscular, with tanned skin and curly light brown hair cropped close to her head. Her face, though too strong-featured to be 'pretty', might be handsome if not for the disfiguring Thread scars that trace across it. Stern dark eyes give an impression of authority... This is not a person to cross.
History - Born at the beginning of the second Pass, Maleka has known Thread and Fall all her life. She comes from a herding family, and grew up sharing the same caves and caverns as the large herdbeasts. Thus, adaption to Weir life was fairly easy. A dragon is bigger, true, but it doesn't smell as much... Her facial scars are a reminder of the first time she fought Thread a-dragonback, flying with the Queen's Wing and a faulty flamer. Luckily, Seuth ducked between just in time.
