i feel like time passes by so quickly, especially when i think about the summer when you first came to ucsd.. but i can;'t go on it... try to send me the site again so i can try.
of course i will help you and tell you where you should improve..
im really happy to hear from you .. are you doing good as usual, and doing good in school? i know you are..
and of you course you know I¡¯m doing really well too.. china has been so awesome so far...
I¡¯m afraid i cant make a trip to Korea to go visit you! i have to go back and start ucsd! wish i could, but i actually met some really good Korean friends here so ill be planning a trip to Korea sometime soon, i promise...

Arthur's mail
real change of perspective comes at the arrival of this month of december..
time all of a sudden flew by like an arrow.. at the start of september, what used to be a hopeful and eager mindset to conquer the world before me and do as many "experience-ful" things as one possibly could.. has suddenly been altered now..
i took a look at my diary .. my very first entry when i moved into my dorm.. wrote about different goals to accomplish.. such as eating different types of chinese dishes..
my feeling during that time was that there was so much before me to set my foot upon.. like my MAIN goal would be to do as many WAY COOL things as possible and attach all these grand stories under my belt to bring back to america.. i thought .. "just to be able to say i did this... just to be able to say i saw that.. "
i've actually done many things.. went to the shaolin temple.. rode a 15 hour train ride to get there. ive been having some good experiences.. but now, the closer it gets to departure time, the more apparent it becomes.. that my priority mission now isnt to go out there and conquer the country anymore..and im sure this is what i was writing about before.. about " the piece that was missing to my experience here" but instead.. my final mission here is to leave my mark

its friday night and im extremely tired but i decided to come out with some friends..
and a giant internet cafe with high tech seats... and then theres a bowling alley with more than 20..
theres something weird going on inside my body right now.. something about going back to the roots.. i dont even quite understand it yet..
but these days, ive REALLY stopped littering.. ahem, i mean i am the UCSD environmental coalition treasurer and all.. but i always litter as if the world is my trash can.. nowadays, i dont want to pollute the atmosphere.. and theres this deep burning passion within me to go back to the Hei Lung Jiang province.. my true roots, as if its my life's mission.
anyway, i think i already said all this stuff before.. but this passion is growing stronger within me each day..
