Assignment 8 direction:  The themem of my web site is perfume.

  I tried to find information using four different simple search methods which are Google for major search, profusion, for meta-search, looksmart of the major subject directory and Ask Jeeves for natural language search engines.

  *Since my theme of my homepage is perfume, I first put the word perfume in the query box. As far as the perfume is a very broad keyword, I came up with too many irrelevant web sites and pages which I didn't expect to get. I expected common sense about perfume or some article that explain how and where to wear perfume or colognes. (Most of the results are about the internet shopping mall and about the prices) So it was very difficult to choose useful sites to put up on my homepage. - Broad and general results related to perfume kept on coming out.

  *Secondly I typed the phrase, origin of perfume, in the box to get exact history of the perfume. I couldn't obtain right article that I am satisfied with until I used Ask Jeeves serch engine. The natural language search engines, Ask Jeeves, show the lists of the informations about history and origin of perfume very quickly so that I could save my time for not needing to look over other sites.
