its been 4 days since my last confession.  

so.  not a very exciting weekend.  tried to see Pirates of Caribbean on friday and going 30 minutes early wasn't even good enough.  i guess kids at the mall were just waiting for the tkts all day long.

on sat, we left 30 minutes to go to the drive in.  Kerem's never been to a drive in.  it was also packed.  they were playing Click! but i guess they all wanted to see Pirates and since it was full, they ALSO went to the drive in instead.  we waited 15 minutes in-line down the street only to be turned away!!!

so, we went to the whacky Uhaul place where they sell used DVD's for 4 bux apiece and bought 4 for the price of a drive in.  Mistletoe was a bit sad but she retreated to her usual place in the closet instead.

but we DID find some exotic turkish food in the Asian Food Market!  spent 90 bux on sucuk, sarelle, yoghurt, cay, peynir, tandim, baklava, eti cookies, etc.  it was a birthday feast, to say the least. kerem was way too excited, i had to calm him down after he was squealing like a 6 yr old at christmas!  the famine is over!

we bought ourselves a desk and its kinda wobbly but we LOVE it.  love the desk.  love it.
