Physical Description

A'derian is very tall, about 6"3", thin and lightly muscled. His skin is lightly tannned and he has a few freckles smattering his nose and arms. He has dark red hair which he wears in long waves and gray eyes. He has an angular face with straight borws and a roman nose and straight slightly full mouth. He doesn't wear any jewelry and prefers simple and comfortable clothes in dark colors.

Personality

A'derian is quiet and intense, waxing philosophical at times, but he doesn't show his feelings much in public, being usually formal but polite to people he doesn't know. He prefers the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with close friends, being indoors stifles him. Though usually seen as cold and aloof, to his few close friends he is affectionate and loyal. He also loves animals, his hunting dogs being his favorites. He does have a temper which he usually saves for the privacy of his own quarters where he breaks things, he rarely raises his voice.

Background History

Anderian is the child of the head cook at Nerat Hold and the head of a trader caravan. He was not close with either of his parents or the various half-siblings his mother produced. His mother was very demanding of him, expecting strength and maturity that most children do not have. Anderian learned to hide his feelings, except around his best friend, Kelhan. They spent most of their youth out of doors, hunting, fishing, and riding the runners that Kelhan's father trained, for Anderian had inherited both his father's love of the outdoors and his skill with runnerbeasts. When Anderian was twelve, he and his friend were apprenticed to the Beasthold where they both excelled. But in the course of time, the more gregarious Kelhan found new friends and in his lonliness, Anderian threw himself into his studies even more, desiring to make journeyman quickly so that he might go somehwere else. He met a girl there named Isandly with whom he had a tentative relationship with, but then one day as he was putting a colt through its paces, he saw dragons fly overhead. He was awestruck and curious. The colt was terrified. Going to the courtyard, he finds that the dragonriders are on Search, and most surprising of all, they want him to come to the weyr. It was something he had never before considered, but when he thought about it, he liked the idea, so now he has just arrived at Mirror Lake Weyr.

Description

Demnoth is average sized for a bronze and he has the appearance of being long and lithe, not as heavily miscled as some of the other bronzes, but far more graceful and agile. His hide looks anitqued, with splotches and swirls of dark brown along with muted gold and the almost transparent wing membranes look like polished brass.

The bronze is a perky as his lifemate is brooding, friendly, chipper, and none too bright, as most dragons, forgetful and devil-may care. He seems to see life with a sort of undiluted joy, like a child, all innocense and naevite. Perhaps age will give him a bit more wisdom, but he will always have the sunny disposition. He has no temper to speak of, and couldn't keep a secret to save his life. He loves attention and demands it and thinks the world of his rider, whatever others may think.
