Physical Description

A'dir looks like he just got off the farm. Big, bulky and with white blond hair and a deep tan, he looks like he has lived a much harsher life than he really has. But he doesn't owe his tan and musuclature to farm work...he simply owes it to hauling stuff around for Sehal, and by the Egg, forbid he didn't do as she ordered, or anyone for that matter! His tan? Well, when he got some time away likes to spend it outdoors doing nice outdoorsy things that most lads enjoy doing. His eyes are blue, not a special blue, just plain old blue. He's not a bad looking boy...if one likes the hick look. He's got a pretty white smile that would be more charming if his front right tooth wasn't almost halfway chipped off. It's okay though. There's a few ladies that occasionally find it cute...ish.

Personality

Not too much to this one. He's just as simple as he looks. A'dir is kind and looks out for the little guy. He could never be a mastermind, but he has a pretty darn good set of morals. Bullies and those who are in general nasty minded will often find themselves with 200 some pounds of angry bumpkin. He absolutely adores his little foster sister Lorekka and will do anything for her. Good luck being the girl's boyfriend! A'dir eagerly will breathe down any suitors neck. His sister's decision to stand for Mirror Lake's new clutch was very distressing for him.. How can he constantly shadow little Lorekka when there are so many different things for him to do? Plus, Lorekka is the brains of the two. A'dir is smart enough to know that he's NOT that smart. What happens when he's stuck caring for some thing that jabbers to him in mind language and eats runnerbeasts whole?

Background History

Sad to say, this dude's life is lacking. Life was life for Aydir, consisting of cleaning, dragging stuff around, and helping Sehal in the kitchens. He didn't like the kitchens, though...he was always slapped around for being more of a nuisance than being a help. Sehal always claimed that he was dropped on his head as a baby, which well, is possible...he always had that weird bump on the back of his head that his mop of blond hair always hid. The only bonus to his day was getting free time with his friends where he could wander around do what ever mysterious things boys tend to do when in groups.

Lorekka was always his brains for him. Aydir presented to her problems, and the young girl would work all the details out for him. She'd even explain it in terms that he could understand! Which was always amazing to him. It's always been obvious he's not the brightests, so at least people that notice could make an effort to help him out a little.

For a boy that made a living simply taking orders, choosing to stand was a big deal. But like everything else, he took it in stride. While Lorekka jumped in joy, Aydir shrugged it off. It would be nice to be a dragonrider, but heck if he didn't make it, there would always be someone with stuff to move. This was just something he chose to try out for the heck of it. Lorekka was so sad for him, but he didn't really understand when he failed. It was something slightly distressing to him though he had never been too thrilled in the first place. He was offered a place to stay and stand at the next clutch in Mirror Lake. Aydir decided to take another stab at it mostly due to Lorekka's influence. She decided to stand as a candidate as well and he just couldn't let her be alone in it. Plus there are a great many boys involved with the hatching thing. Who knows what trouble they might get Lorekka into...
