Name: A'mor
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Homosexual
Birthday: 10.28.1264
Birthplace: Nabol Hold
Location: Mirror Lake Weyr
Occupation/Rank: Greenrider/Apprentice Baker
Physical Description
A'mor has a slightly feminine look. His body is thin, with pale skin. He has baby fine, dark brown, somewhat wavy hair that he keeps short. The top and front are a little longer than the sides or back and he has a habit of running his fingers through it. He has dark gray eyes with a ring of darker gray around the iris, surrounded by thick, dark eyelashes. He has full, sensual lips and a dazzling smile (when he does smile) He has peaches and cream skin that makes him look younger than his 22 turns. He has strong, but soft, gentle hands. He is definitely considered a "pretty boy". He would be about 6', but tends to hunch over, making him look shorter than he is. He doesn't give much consideration to clothing, usually throwing anything on that is reasonably clean. So, generally, he appears ruffled, wrinkled and sloppy. He has no finery, choosing to forgo special occasions since, as a greenrider, he isn't 'expected' to attend. And has never been to a gathering, except to help with the baking and run errands as a child, which didn't require nice clothing.
Personality
A'mor is a shy and somewhat troubled young man. He has a sensuality about him that he is totally oblivious to. He is intelligent enough but has a complete lack of confidence. His thoughts generally turn inwards and he berates himself constantly. He still doesn't understand how his beloved Sianath considered him worthy of her. He would be a loyal friend...if he had any friends. He is compassionate and doesn't have a selfish bone in his body. He has no temper, always too worried that it is his fault when he gets angry about things. He believes he is always wrong and avoids confrontations like the plague. He is intimidated by authority figures and will trip over his own feet to do their bidding. The only place he feels comfortable is in the mind of his dragon. There, he can be his sweet self and no one the wiser.
Background History
Arlamor was born to cook at Nabol Hold and her spouse, a miner from nearby Crom Hold. Arlamor's mother, Limani, was advanced in years and did not survive his birth. His father, bereft at her passing and blaming Arlamor, gave the boy to the head cook, Parmos and his family to raise and returned to Crom Hold, never to contact the boy again. Arlamor's first 5 turns were uneventful, Parmos' wife, taking adequate, if unloving and uninterested care of him. But when he was old enough to start helping in the kitchen under Parmos' eye, things changed. Suddenly, Arlamor could do nothing right. He was consistently told how he should appreciate that Parmos and his spouse took him in; that he should work hard to repay that debt; that he's not worth the flour they bake with; that he's only there because no one else wanted him. Arlamor's loneliness and depression took it's toll. He had no self confidence to speak of, did what was asked of him and no more, spoke only when spoken to and became withdrawn.
The only thing that changed for Arlamor was when he met a senior apprentice healer by the name of Quinlin. Arlamor was only 14 turns, Quinlin 18, but Arlamor was enamoured with the boy. Quinlin's affection for Arlamor quickly developed into something more, but Parmos found out and the whipping Arlamor received curtailed any more such activities. Arlamor's loneliness grew...and the desperation he felt about his life. He had no one to turn to, no one to care about him.
It was when Arlamor was finally released from his duties one day that he stumbled into a dragon that was at Nabol Hold on search. Arlamor, his head down, not looking where he was going, his mind completely involved in his self pity, actually ran into the leg of the creature. Arlamor was knocked down and then stunned to hear the dragon warbling at him.....at him! Did he hurt the blue? Was the rider angry with him? Apparently not as the rider offered his hand to help Arlamor up. He was flabbergasted. His mind could hardly register the words the man was saying. Searched? His dragon thinks he has potential? Potential for what? Arlamor knew nothing about dragons, not having harper classes, or search and didn't know he had the option to refuse, so went to the Weyr, all the while wondering what he was doing. His ride there was frightening to say the least, and once there, though everyone was kind to him, he withdrew even more, though he soaked up the information from his candidate classes.
Even sevendays later at Telgar Weyr, Arlamor was still in shock. He was in a daze when the hatching began. If you asked him what happened, he wouldn't be able to tell you. All he really remembers is heat and fear.....until Sianath spoke into his affection starved mind. She would love him forever. She would never hurt him, abandon him, slight him. She would be his for always. He would never be lonely again. With Sianath to cling to, A'mor grew and changed. Weyrlinghood, though difficult for A'mor, was enlightening. Still painfully shy, he wasn't the terrified boy that had arrived at the Weyr, thinking he would be a misfit at every turn, because he knew he had a dragon now. He still could not build confidence in himself no matter how hard Sianath tried to convince him. He worried that he was hurting her. Worried he would inhibit her when she rose for the first time. That, thank Faranth, did not happen. Sianath rose, and it was the blue that searched A'mor that caught her. For the first time, A'mor was ecstatic....and in love.
But C'mar was not the weyrmating kind. He liked his freedom and with a green rising nearly every other day, C'mar was too concerned with his fun to be faithful to one man. A'mor was crushed. He withdrew into himself again, spoke to no one, until the Weyrleaders began to be concerned for his well being and, more importantly, that of his dragon. It was decided that A'mor needed a change of scenery, so they applied to Mirror Lake's Weyr Council to allow A'mor to transfer there, thinking the more egalitarian atmosphere might bring A'mor out of his shell.
A'mor, now, has been at Mirror Lake for several months and is finding it different, but in a good way. He still hasn't made any friends, being shy and afraid that he will fall for one and be hurt again. Sianath's next rising is coming soon, and A'mor isn't sure what he's going to do.

Dragon Info
Name: Sianath
Color: Green
Age: 7
Description
Sianath is an average green, her wingspan normal, her tail and neck perfect length for her body. Her color borders from light new leaf green near her head graduating to a swampy green on her tail. She is a very compassionate green. She gets along with other dragons, though will not speak to other humans. She is flirty and coy with the males, but only when close to rising. She prefers blues over browns or bronzes, but will let just about any male catch her. She is especially protective of her lifemate. She knows he hurts in his heart, but she doesn't know what to do. She is of average intelligence for a green, but is especially sensitive to A'mor.
