Physical Description

K'tyr's hair is much like Ehlanna's. It is dark brown and very curly. He keeps it short and it goes wild much of the time. His eyes are dark grey - this was always the one way to tell the two apart while they were children. Unfortunately for K'tyr, he is rather short for his age at 5'6.

Personality

Personality is where K'tyr and Ehlanna differ. Where Ehlanna is quiet, K'tyr does not know when to keep his mouth shut. He is always telling his opinion of things whether people want it or not. K'tyr is the trouble maker of the two, especially when it comes to picking on people - especially Ehlanna!

Background History

K'tyr has not too much to speak of. He grew up in the Weyr and has the same thoughts as his sister about the dragons. However, being male, somewhere along the lines he has picked up the boisterous Bronze Rider Syndrome (arrogance!). This was somewhat deflated at the last Hatching. He was looked at by one of the bronzes, but was passed by when the bronze came to actually choose his rider. K'tyr literally made sure to look the other way when a brown came towards him, thinking that if he would not ride bronze he would not ride anything. He regrets this decision now, especially after a dressing down by one of the brown riders who had noticed this action.

He hoped at the next Hatching he would be able to stand the grounds and Impress. While he may have tried to hold out for a bronze, he had decided that ANYTHING was better than that lecture he had received the last time! If only his sister wouldn't Impress though. She'd been so whiney about it all! But if she did.. and it was only a green… it would still be worth it! As long as his sister didn't Impress if he didn't!

His wish almost didn't come true. The hatching occurred after one of his fights with Ehlanna, and they arrived in the Hatching Caverns on the heels of one another. Katyr's eyes were gazing from egg to egg, hoping and trying to send out little thoughts of comfort to the inhabitants inside. He saw his sister Impress and was glad for her - which surprised him. Then he was even more surprised when a bronze passed him by and he didn't feel any anger. Then a moment later he realized he was laying on the sands with a green dragon mewling in his face “I'm here! I'm here! Can we eat? Huh huh huh? Can we?”

His role in life was set and he's rather painfully going through his weyrling lessons, wanting to be able to do it all, but being limited by the lessons.

Description

Tahroth's colouring is a dark forest green. Unlike may dragons, her colour is solid with no variations in her hide. She does not preen like many greens, and is not so fussy about her outward appearance as long as she isn't itchy!

Tahroth is on the small side for a green. However, she makes up for it in personality. She has the energy and exuberance of a young puppy. She is constantly poking her nose into things and is extremely inquisitive. It's hoped that she will calm as she grows or she may end up a very highstrung green.
