Physical Description

S'braton is a lithe young man, in the midst of puberty. He's 5'6, although you can't count that much, since six months ago he was barely 5'. The same goes for his weight, which right now is maybe 140, on the skinny side of average. Sabe doesn't pay much attention to his appearance - his dishwater brownish-blonde hair is rough cut and shaggy, his clothes look worn after only a few candlemarks on his body. He does hate the fact that he always gets complimented on the color of his eyes, which are a clear ocean blue.

Personality

He's too young to have much of a personality yet, but in his immaturity, S'braton is far too much of an optimist. Mostly that was to offset his parents pessimism, but what does a child know about hardship? His most constant complaint was that his parents overworked him, so he was overjoyed to get away from them.

He's not only an optimist and immature, but he's energetic as well. Enough to have gotten him into plenty of trouble when he couldn't sit still long enough for lessons or to be efficient at chores.

Background History

S'braton is from a fairly decent sized cothold on the far edges of Lyra Cove's territory. His parents made a habit of hiding him and his siblings from Searchriders when they appeared, needing them at home more than they needed to be able to say they had a dragonrider for a child. He spent most of his childhood devising ways to escape from his parents, thinking that anywhere was better than being a virtual slave to your land.

When he was just barely 14, luck was with him. He was on an errand to another cothold, just about to leave, when a Searchrider appeared. Without anyone to shoo him inside, he blatantly played up to the blue dragon and his rider, eventually being chosen to stand as a Candidate.

Description

ezeith is big for a green, and her dark grayish-green hide has just a tint of yellow to it, so she's the color of new spring grass in the shade. It's eyecatching for all that its not a bright color, more so for the fact that its unusual even for a green dragon. Her body is a series of seemingly mismatched parts, although hopefully as she grows things will even out. Right now her wings and tail are far too large for her small frame, and don't go well with the sleek lines of the rest of her body.

She is quiet, thoughtful, and has made S'aton the center of her being. Tezeith has little use for her clutchmates or other dragons unless she has questions that her rider is unable to answer. She is a foil for S'aton's youth and hyperactivity with her calm and deliberate nature. One can only hope that her influence on the boy will mature him sooner rather than later. Otherwise the weyrlingmasters will have their hands very full!
