Physical Description

Yvenne is short, on the dainty side, barely hitting 5'3 and 130 pounds. To be honest, she looks like a good stiff wind would blow her away, but she does have well toned muscle hiding under her clothes. Her eyes are a pale, pale gray in color, looking oddly out of place against her tanned skin. Yvenne's hair is a point of vanity: The honey blonde locks were cropped short for the first time when she Impressed, and seem to be taking forever to grow back. They fall just past her shoulders now, in long waves.

Personality

On the quiet side as a child, many who have known her for a longer period of time cannot understand how she ended up so flamboyant. She can be overly talkative, going off on strange tangents in mid-conversation, and has no shame about calling attention to herself. Yvenne would be the first one to take a dare to run naked across the weyrbowl, and the next step would be to dare someone else to keep up with her! This often has the tendency to annoy people, as does the excessive talking.

Background History

Yvenne has lived a fairly simple life, born at Lyra Cove Hold. She was a middle child out of seven, born to a guard and his seamstress wife in the Hold proper. At twelve she Impressed to the Harpers, eventually finding that she had a natural talent for drama that exposed itself more and more as she got older.

By the time she walked the tables to junior journeywoman at age eighteen, she had also discovered that she had quite the ah... personal affection?... for women. When the folks at the Hall discovered this, and her inapproprate growing relationship with one of the senior apprentices, they reassigned her almost immediately to the Weyr.

Yvenne was at the weyr for nearly two turns, and was just about to turn twenty when she was asked to stand for a clutch that was a little short on candidates. She impressed a blue, to no one's particular surprise.

Now, four turns later, she has settled in as an efficient, if somewhat rambunctious, member of the wings.

Description

Diedrath is a small blue, his stature very much fitting Yvenne's own. His hide is a deep royal color, darkening on his points to near black. Dee's well proportioned, and an agile flyer. Since graduation, he's won what seems like more than his fair share of green flights, although you'd never hear him or Yvenne complain. Personality-wise, he's quiet, somewhat of a foil for his rider. While he has little modesty, he does not show off the way she does.
