Well, don't be. It's all in my head. Yup. Just thought I'd start my journal for 2001 with a lil fairy tale of sorts. BUT, mark my words, at least 50% of the story will become true during the course of this year. Guaranteed! Wanna place a bet? Drop me a line and we'll see who beats who by the end of the year. I'll post a recap of the last year another time. For now I wish everyone a most joyous, happy and prosper 2001. (And invite me to all your parties. There's nothing like an all-night pig-out drunken orgy to start off the new year with).
I have such an awesome job! After a few months of hard work I was finally given that promotion I so wanted (can anyone say cha-ching!). I'm now on the web design team with the rest of my geeky friends and we're kickin' ass! This is such a fun group too. They're all laid-back and silly. I'm psyched dude! (Yikes, where'd that come from... oh, I guess my happiness) And to support me with this new achievement my babe-a-licious boyfriend is taking me on a weekend trip to San Diego to celebrate! Does that rock or what? Now, now, don't let the green monster get a hold of you. My sweetie is just so... well, sweet!...heh, and he's kind, loving, considerate (not to mention the big bucks the man is worth but who's counting right) and oh so intelligent. *sigh* I am the luckiest girl in the world! Hey, can you keep a secret? Yes? Okay, but shhh. He asked me to move in with him! Yes!!! Can you believe it?!?! I love him to death but I'm not sure about that just yet. I'm just so happy he asked. Oh, oh, oh!! More news....did I tell you I crossed the finish line at the Chicago Marathon? I did, I did. My best friend Betty came all the way from California to join me. We had a blast even though we were in the last group of finishers in the race, but we did it! Yahooooo! She was also here to finish the deal with our side business? Oh, I didn't tell you? Okay, get a hold of yourself. We've started the online business we'd been talking about for years. It's a production company of sorts but I can't say more than that right now. We already have a couple of clients signed up so things are looking up from here. Wow! What a life! Man! You're jealous aren't you?
