My Father, How I wish I Could Tell You That  I Am El Zorro?
"A Secret Letter to My Father"

Dearest Father,

In the event of my capture or death,
I wish for you to know
Why I kept this secret from you.
I did not wish for you to be in any kind of danger
Or be arrested and tried for treason
For you did not know that your only son was the infamous outlaw, El Zorro.
I know when I rescued you from the hands of Capitan Monastrio,
That you had desired and dreamed that your son, Diego, was the highwayman if you had taken my mask off.
But my father, I love you too much to risk your life in danger.
For I know you are a very proud man, and you have a very proud and fighting spirit and would risk your life to save me.
And this, I cannot allow, my father.
I had figured out why you called me home before the ship docked, and with Bernardo and Tornado's help, I managed to became the Fox.
I know that you would been very proud of me and would have fought along with us.
So, please forgive me, Father, in deceiving you.  I hope that I have done you proud.

Your loving Son,
Diego
