The group that went on my birthday picnic. Well I was there as well of course, but I was taking the photo. We stopped at one location and where we met the kids. The weren’t too keen on having their picture taken until I showed them theirs. The wonders of a digital camera.

Some of the views we song along the way.

Finally all the ladies needed to use a restroom. Below is  what we found. The villager was very proud of this W.C., he had built it himself. It cost 25 fen for us all to use it (about 3 cents US) not the best W.C. but definately not the worse by a long shot.

Along the way we met these people. They are of the Qiang minority. They too did not want their photo taken, but once again through the magic of digital photography they let us.

Where we finally stopped and ate it was lovely. To the left and below is a gentleman who was watching us. I think he worked or lived in the building behind him. he became our new best friend when we gave him some of the food from my picnick. Below is a building that was located near where we ate.
